Saved From a Stroke
A handful of subscribers shared stories of friends and loved ones. One was Joe J. of Decatur, Georgia. In 2000, Joe's 82-year-old mother developed a blood clot on her left leg. Treatment to dissolve the clot caused a hemorrhagic stroke, and her doctor gave her less than 24 hours to live.
Mrs. J. pulled through, but spent the next 100 days in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Fortunately for her, Joe had read about hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the newsletter and arranged for treatment. After each of her 30 sessions, Joe noted marked improvements in her mental clarity and function.
